Inspired by music and the swirling movement of skirts while dancing, I used Palatino because it is a traditional serif type with beautiful little slices in the letters which I think really symbolize my latin spicy culture. I also used Helvetica for a simple type that historically did not attract undo attention onto itself taking the focus away from the design. I used Helvetica to represent the literal definition of culture, and contrast my culture. I also used Optima because it is the ultimate symbol of a fusion.
